Syracuse won its second New Era Pinstripe Bowl by defeating West Virginia, 38-14, in a snowy game at Yankee Stadium. Prince-Tyson Gulley recorded a career-high 215 yards on 26 carries and notched three touchdowns. Gulley was also named the Pinstripe Bowl MVP for his performance against the Mountaineers. SU finished the 2012 season with six wins in its last seven games and an 8-5 record.

The Orange scored 23 of its 38 points in the third quarter, the most points it’s scored in a quarter all season.
